Your capable, creative, once confident teen is struggling in ways they can’t put into words. You can feel the urgency, they need support.

I help teens overcome anxiety, perfectionism, and school stress so they can feel confident, connected, and like themselves again.

Services I Provide for Teens and Their Families

A young woman with light skin and blonde hair tied in a bun, wearing a yellow sweater and blue jeans, is sitting cross-legged on a table. She is smiling and looking at a laptop in front of her. She is also wearing large headphones. There are several books, an open notebook, a cup, and a pen holder on the table. The background shows a bright room with large windows, a potted plant, and photos on a corkboard.

Helping Teens Feel Like Themselves Again

When teens feel overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected, or stuck, they can begin to lose confidence in who they are. Therapy helps teens reconnect with themselves, understand their emotions, and build a stronger sense of identity, confidence, and emotional balance.

Strengthening the Parent–Teen Connection

Teen years can create distance, miscommunication, and tension within families. Therapy helps parents and teens rebuild trust, improve communication, and create healthier, more supportive relationships.

Empowering Personal Growth

Helping teens build confidence, emotional resilience, and healthy coping skills so they can navigate challenges with greater clarity, confidence, and purpose.

Hi, I’m Sarah Allen

I became a therapist because I’m passionate about helping youth grow into the best version of themselves while embracing what makes them unique.

I help youth build confidence, develop healthy coping skills, and deepen their connection with themselves. I create a warm, judgment‑free space where they can explore their feelings, understand what’s getting in the way, and build on the strengths they already have.

I see young people as the experts in their own experience and support those navigating depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, adverse life events, learning disabilities, and attentional difficulties. Parents often share that their child leaves sessions feeling lighter, more at ease, and more hopeful.

I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with over 25 years of experience working with youth across summer camps, school‑based services, behavioral intervention programs, and collaborative planning with families for young people with developmental disabilities.
